Kramerbooks & Afterwords Café is an iconic café and bookstore concept, right in the heart of Dupont Circle. Our bookstore is known for its carefully curated selection of books and merchandise. Our café offers American bistro cuisine and an extensive beverage program including 18 draft beers. Both are open extended hours and are an integral part of DC’s day and nightlife.
We’re always on the lookout for team members and managers who are passionate about providing exceptional hospitality. Previous independent bookstore experience, or experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant environment, is always a plus. It’s more than okay if you’re a little bit quirky and independent – so are we!
